How can we help?
Find answers to common questions or contact Mobax Studios about a problem, feedback or an idea.
We aim to respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Common questions
How do I play?
Swipe a piece into a neighbouring space, or tap one piece and then a piece next to it, to swap them. Line up three or more of the same piece to clear them. Each level shows its goal and how many moves you have.
What are stars for?
You earn up to three stars for each level you complete. Spend them on restoration tasks at Ashby House to repair it and unlock the next part of the story.
What happens when I run out of lives?
You lose a life when you fail a level. Lives refill over time, even while the app is closed, so you can come back and keep playing.
How do I turn off music, sound or vibration?
Open Settings and switch Music, Sound Effects or Haptics off. The game is fully playable with all of them off.
Where is my progress stored?
Your levels, stars, restoration progress, boosters and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. There is no online account or cloud save, so progress does not transfer between devices. Removing the app deletes it, including any unused boosters you bought. The Supporter Pack can be restored (see below).
Does Hollow Creek have ads or in-app purchases?
There are no ads. Optional in-app purchases offer extra boosters, a life refill and a one-time Supporter Pack. Every level can be completed without them, and lives refill for free over time.
How do I restore a purchase or ask for a refund?
To restore the Supporter Pack on a new device or after reinstalling, open Settings in Hollow Creek and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is it scary?
Hollow Creek is spooky and mysterious rather than frightening. It relies on atmosphere and suspense, with no gore or graphic violence.
