Common questions
Does Clear 21 involve real money?
No. Clear 21 is an educational trainer. There is no betting, no deposits, no balances and no prizes.
Which blackjack rules does it support?
Open Settings to choose 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 decks, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, double after split, and late surrender. The app assumes the dealer checks for blackjack, you can double on any first two cards, and split aces receive one card.
Why does the app differ from another strategy chart?
Basic strategy changes with the table rules. Check that your selected rules match the chart you are comparing. Clear 21 teaches total-based strategy and does not include composition-dependent exceptions or card counting.
What does Clear 21 Pro include?
Pro adds the specialised training modes (hard hands, soft hands, pairs, double downs, surrender and weak spots), detailed statistics and history, and custom table rules. Standard practice, the quick drill, the daily challenge, recent-mistake review, lessons and the strategy chart stay free.
How do I restore Pro on a new device?
Open the Pro screen or Settings and select Restore purchases. Use the same Apple account that made the original purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Clear 21. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple account used for the purchase.
Where is my progress stored?
Your decisions, statistics, lessons and settings are stored locally on your device. There is no online account or cloud backup, so progress does not transfer between devices.
How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings and select Reset training data. Your settings are kept. Removing the app also removes its locally stored data.
How do I make practice harder or calmer?
In Settings you can hide hand totals, turn on auto-advance for correct answers and choose how long feedback stays on screen, and switch sound effects and haptic feedback on or off.
Before contacting support
Please include your device model, iOS version, the app version shown at the bottom of Settings, the table rules you selected, and, for a strategy question, your cards and the dealer upcard. Do not email passwords or payment details.
