Privacy policy

This policy explains how Mobax Studios handles information when you use Swipecade.

In brief: your scores, progress and settings are stored only on your device. Swipecade has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking, and Mobax Studios does not receive your game data.

1. Information stored by the app

Swipecade stores your best score for each game, the highest stage you have reached in games with stages, how many runs you have started and finished, and your sound and haptics settings. This information is stored locally on your device using the app’s local storage.

2. Information Mobax Studios collects

Swipecade does not operate user accounts, advertising, behavioural analytics, crash-reporting services or a Mobax Studios server that receives your game data. The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

3. Purchases and advertising

The current version of Swipecade has no in-app purchases and shows no advertising. If either is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released, explaining what information is involved and who processes it.

4. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message and attachments. We use it to respond, investigate the issue and maintain an appropriate support record. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

5. Data sharing

Mobax Studios does not sell your personal information. We may disclose information received through support where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security or users.

6. Retention and deletion

Information stored by Swipecade remains on your device until you remove the app, subject to the behaviour of your device backups. Removing the app deletes its scores, progress and settings. Support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, keep appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete support correspondence where applicable.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by Mobax Studios. No device, storage method or email service can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect access to your device using its available security features.

8. Children

Swipecade is a general-audience arcade game with no chat, user-generated content, accounts or purchases. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

9. International services

Platform providers and email services may process information outside the United Kingdom under their own terms and safeguards.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information Mobax Studios holds about you, including access, correction, deletion or objection. Because Swipecade’s game data is stored locally, Mobax Studios cannot access or retrieve it for you.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Swipecade’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
