Privacy policy

This policy explains how Mobax Studios handles information when you use Outright.

In brief: your mortgage figures, overpayments, plans and goals are stored locally on your device. Mobax Studios does not receive them through the app.

1. Information you enter

Outright lets you enter information such as your mortgage balance, interest rate, monthly payment, remaining term, property value, deal details, overpayments, scenarios and goals. This information is stored locally on your device using the app’s local storage.

2. Information Mobax Studios collects

Outright does not currently operate user accounts, advertising, behavioural analytics or a Mobax Studios server that receives your mortgage information. The app’s analytics events are inactive and do not transmit information.

3. Purchases

If you buy or restore Outright Pro, the transaction is processed by the platform store, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The app receives purchase status needed to unlock Pro. Mobax Studios does not receive your full payment card details. The relevant store processes purchase information under its own privacy policy.

4. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message and attachments. We use it to respond, investigate the issue and maintain an appropriate support record. Please do not send bank details, passwords or full mortgage account numbers.

5. Data sharing

Mobax Studios does not sell your personal information. We may disclose information received through support where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security or users.

6. Retention and deletion

Information stored by Outright remains on your device until you reset the app’s details or remove the app, subject to the behaviour of your device backups. Support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, keep appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete support correspondence where applicable.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by Mobax Studios. No device, storage method or email service can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect access to your device using its available security features.

8. Children

Outright is intended for adult mortgage holders and is not directed at children.

9. International services

Platform providers and email services may process information outside the United Kingdom under their own terms and safeguards. Outright is currently designed for UK mortgage users.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information Mobax Studios holds about you, including access, correction, deletion or objection. Because the app’s mortgage information is stored locally, Mobax Studios cannot access or retrieve that information for you.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Outright’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
